We set you up on your own private, dedicated cloud server so that your data is always secure, and we give you a custom subdomain of md-hq.com to access your build. During the set up process, we load in your logo and information about your practice, so that links and forms all work the way they should. If you opt for an integrated incoming fax line, we set this up in your area code. And we set up any initial user profiles for the different users in your practice. Permissions for each user can be set based on standard roles (administrator, provider, medical assistant, scheduling user) or custom permissions.
User permissions are just one of many customization options. Different aspects of the look and workflow can be changed to suit your preferences both before you start and later on, when you've gotten a better feel for what's needed or as your needs change.
If you're coming from another EMR, we can probably import your data so that your MD HQ build is populated from day one. Or, if you're coming from paper charts (or another custom system), we can help figure out the best way to get your data into MD HQ as painlessly as possible, to make sure everything remains accessible and you're not stuck using parallel systems.

Once you're set up with MD HQ, the intuitive layout and workflow mean that you can start working right away. While learning a new system always has its challenges, MD HQ is designed to have a gentle learning curve. You should be able to find your way around right from the beginning, though you'll gain speed as you get familiar with MD HQ's features, tools, and shortcuts.
